The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce has been the serving the business community since 1931. It was established to promote civic, commercial, industrial, and agricultural progress in Dryden and the surrounding district. It serves and works towards legislation and efficient administration at the community and government levels.
We are an independent, membership-based, not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors, and our aim is to provide relevant services to businesses, enabling them to develop and prosper. We provide a collective voice by taking your views and concerns to policy and decision-makers.
The chamber provides an opportunity for people who create local jobs and drive the local economy to work together with the public and government to build a better, more prosperous community. We aim to provide exceptional service to our membership and the business community through strong advocacy, communication and community engagement.
We are the leader in business services and advocacy in Northwestern Ontario by providing top-quality networking opportunities while fostering business development and economic growth.
The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce is governed by a Board of Directors. They meet once a month on the first Thursday of the month starting at 6 pm. If you are interested in attending as a guest, e-mail the chamber for details.

How big of a commitment is the role of Director?
Through election to the board as a director, you assume the responsibility of the governance and fiduciary duties of the organization. You are expected to regularly attend monthly board meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
The success of our Chamber lies in the vision and participation of our members and our Board of Directors to direct the course for our future, embracing opportunities and challenges. Your business voice will make a difference, and we have the capacity to build on our strengths and carry on the tradition of our founding Chamber leaders. Let’s grow and strengthen the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce together.
